Sandy K. Dreibelbis, 69, unexpectedly passed away Friday morning, November 9, 2018 at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawka.
Sandy was born in South Bend, Indiana to Harry Harness and Betty (Weller) Godfrey. She was raised in Grovertown and graduated from Oregon-Davis High School.
On May 13, 2003, Sandy married Kim A. Dreibelbis Sr. in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sandy worked for the Kroger in Plymouth as the food service manager of the deli for 33 years until her retirement in 2005.
She was an antique glass dealer and collected real tourquise. She had an amazing green thumb and raised the prettiest flowers in her garden. She also loved her dog and cats. Sandy was a past member of the Plymouth Elks Lodge.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Kim of Plymouth; her son, Rick (Rebekah) McCarty of Plymouth; granddaughter, Shadow Trent of Plymouth; mother, Betty Godfrey of Plainfield, IN; brothers, Bill Godfrey of Plainfield, IN and Randy (Margaret) Harness of Greenfield, IN; and nephew, Adam (Dana) Harness of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Harness.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11-2 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.
