Agnes B. Dumont, 98, a Plymouth resident for the past ten years, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the home of her daughter, with whom she resided.
The daughter of Vito and Primina Nigliati Tumiati, Agnes was born in Livingston, Illinois on November 2, 1912. She graduated from high school in Livingston.
On November 25, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., Agnes and William G. Dumont were married. William preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1990.
Agnes had worked as a billing clerk at Sherwin-Williams Co. in Chicago.
She had been a volunteer group leader for Recovery, Inc. in Chicago for 25 years, from 1949 to 1974, and was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge.
Agnes is survived by a daughter, Cindy Procter of Plymouth; a granddaughter, Darlene Dumont;
five great granddaughters: Michelle Wullenschneider, Lisa Scruby, Angela Sandoval, Quinci O’Brien and Emoree O’Brien; a great grandson, Phillip Cary; five great-great granddaughters: Hailey Powers, Brooke Wullenschneider, Annabell Cary, Miah Cary, Angelina Sandoval and a great-great grandson, Joseph Sandoval. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, William Joseph Procter; and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends will be welcomed by the family at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 9 to 11 a.m.. Moose Rites by the Plymouth Moose Lodge will be held at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by the funeral services.
Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
