Albert Gail Enders, 86, of Plymouth, Indiana passed away at 7:35 pm Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
On April 12, 1937, he was born in Plymouth to Ralph and Mildred T. (Gilley) Enders. He was united in marriage to Effie Mae Grant. He then was united in marriage to Margaret Yeager in Streator, Illinois, who preceded him in death on November 14, 2013.
Albert honorably served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He then worked for several companies which included Durgham’s, Plymouth; McCord’s, Plymouth; Pilgrim Farms, Plymouth and Miller’s Bearing, Bremen. He then worked for Walmart, Plymouth in maintenance. Albert was a loving father and loved spending time with grandkids. He loved helping with the Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting and he was a member of Granger Community Church, Granger.
Albert is survived by five sons, Dennis Ganns, Argos, Scott (Jennifer) Enders, Etna Green, Chris Enders, Plymouth, Richard Enders, Plymouth and Steve Enders, South Bend; his daughter, Diane (Mike) Delaney, Marvel, Colorado; 5 grandchildren; Emily Enders, Mills Creek; Kyle Hensley, Texas, Abigail (William) Fant, Plymouth, Adrianna (Ryan) Baumgartner, Milford, Jessica (Curt) Wills, LaPaz; 6 great grandchildren, Hannah Eddy, Savannah Enders, Everlee Fant, A.J. Fant, Roselyn Wills and Asher Baumgartner. He is also survived by several extended family members.
He is also preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Rose Marie Enders.
Visitation hours will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Friday, September 22, 2023, at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home with Pastor John Kaehr officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #27, Plymouth and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Memorial contributions may be made in Albert’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
