Ann Lou Glover, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Born on September 10, 1952 in Muncie to Ebert an Eva (Cart) Schenck, Ann brought joy to those around her with her humor and generous nature.
Ann was a proud graduate of the Muncie High School Bearcats Class of 1971. Working as a dedicated employee in various factory roles through the years, it was her role at Miller's Merry Manor and as cashier at Kroger that she cherished the most. These experiences allowed her to share her warm heart and infectious laughter with countless individuals, making each day a little brighter for those she served.
Known for her funny personality, Ann had the ability to light up a room with her laughter. She adored watching classic television shows, particularly "I Love Lucy," and held a special fondness for Betty White. The holiday season brought her great joy, especially her trips to Chicago during Christmastime. Ann enjoyed traveling, with memorable adventures on cruises, particularly a Disney Cruise that took her around Europe, creating lasting memories that she deeply cherished.
Family was the cornerstone of Ann's life. She will be missed by her daughter, Sheri, and son-in-law, Scott Heckaman, as well as her son, Kevin Glover; and her grandchildren: Trey, Kyla (Wes), Jordan, Tiffany, Sarah, and Ashleigh. Ann is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Sharon Schenck, along with her brother-in-law, Fred Carnes.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Ebert and Eva Schenck, and her sister, Shirley Carnes.
