Anna B. Smith, 65, a resident of Plymouth for the past 16 years, died at 9:07 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010,at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Hayes, Anna was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on August 20, 1945. She was a 1962 graduate of Russell Springs High School.
Anna and W. Michael Smith were married on Jan. 27, 1996, in Russell Springs.
An avid camper, Anna also enjoyed traveling. She attended Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
Anna is survived by her husband, Michael and their children: Sons, Jeff Linville of San Diego, California; David Smith of Nashville, Indiana; Jerry (Ginger) Smith of Millbrook, Alabama; a daughter, Ann (Jeff) Babcock of Plymouth, Indiana; seven grand children; one great grandson; her mother, Elizabeth Hayes of Russell Springs, Kentucky; three sisters: Jean Brant of Franklin, Indiana; Janice Blair of Russell Springs, Kentucky and Lois Hale of Jamestown, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters: Radine Black; Mary Jo Johnson and a grandson, Cameron Babcock.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 – 2 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana.
Funeral services will be he immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.
