Passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2018, at home. She was in the home she loved and shared with her husband of 60 years Frank who preceded her in death. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Anne was born in Knox, Indiana (Starke County) on October 24, 1931 to the late Ray and Lillian Clark. She was the middle of 7 children, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. When she graduated from high school, she was off to New York, modeling and seeking her career. Her career was decided at the Normandy Club in Mishawaka Indiana when she met Frank. She couldn’t keep her eyes off of his lime green socks, Frank couldn’t keep his eyes off her beautiful face. Next date was in Frank’s convertible sharing milkshakes and cheeseburgers. They were married 9 months later on October 20th, 1951 in Waukegan, Illinois.
Anne was a generous and devoted wife and mother with a golden heart. Her warmth and friendly personality drew people to her and she made friends wherever she went. Anne’s strength and love carried the family through life’s many turns, her family was everything to her .
Anne is survived by her three daughters: Cynthia (Al) Thoburn, Venetia (Drew) Lambo and Lisa (Joe) Diblasi. She loved her eight grandchildren: Matthew, Courtney, Lindsey, Brittany, Andrew, Christopher, Chelsea and Tori. She was hugely blessed with four beautiful great-granddaughters: Francine, Aurora, Olivia and Lilah. She is also survived by two brothers: John and Robert Clark both of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: James, Jackson, two sisters: Mabel (Clark) Leonard and Mildred (Clark) Henning.
The Services will be held Wednesday, June 27th, 10:00 a.m, at United Methodist Church, 9650 Reseda Blvd., Northridge, CA 91324. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Northwest Accordion Society, 3224 B Street in Forest Grove, OR 97116 Attn: Doris Osgood.
