Benjamin Michael Carter died at his residence, 1208 Rosemare Court, Goshen, Ind., at 3:53 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005.
Ben was 24 years-old.
He was born in Goshen, the son of Patrick Joseph and Marilyn Kay ( Nordman) Carter on June 16, 1981.
A graduate of the American Home School program, he had worked for the past six years at Industrial Graphics in Cromwell, Ind.
Ben enjoyed sports, his computer and –most of all– he loved his car.
He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Goshen, Ind.
His death is an agonizing loss to all who knew and loved him.
Ben is survived by his parents, Patrick and Kay and by a sister and three brothers, their wives and children.
His sister is Kristie Smith of Goshen, Indiana. His brothers and their families are: Rob and Monica Carter and their children, Alexis and Zachary, Syracuse, Ind.; Scott and Dionne Carter and their children, Kenny and Reyanna, Goshen, Ind., and Toby and Alainea Carter, of Goshen, Indiana.
Ben’s grandmother, Clara Levina Carter, of Osceola, also survives his death.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandfather, P.H. Carter, in 1976: his grandmother, Jesse Nordman, in 1980 and his grandfather, George Nordman, in 1992.
Friends will be welcomed by the family at the Goshen Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2310 Eisenhower North, Goshen, Ind., from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2005.
Funeral services will be held for Ben at 2 p.m., following visitation in the Kingdom Hall. Larry Gerber, an Elder of Jevohovah’s Witnesses will officiate.
Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse, Ind.
The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, is in charge of arrangements.
