Benton K. Begley, 67 a former Plymouth resident, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2000 in the Pasco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Dade City, Florida. He died following an extended illness.
Benton was born the son of Homer and Myrtle Fields Begley, on January 8, 1933 in Wooton, Kentucky. On April 6, 1971 he married the former Mary E. Slater and resided in Plymouth.
He is survived by his wife Mary, his mother Myrtle Begley of Winamac, Indiana, three sisters and three brothers. His sisters are Jean Allen of Knox, Christine Lehman and Marjorie Delli both of LaPorte, Indiana, and brothers, Dan Begley of Oklawaha, Florida and Charles and Russell Begley both of North Judson, Indiana. Benton was preceded in death by his father in 1976.
Memorial services will be conducted in Plymouth at the New Oakhill Chapel on Wed. November 8, 2000 at 10 a.m. with calling one half-hour prior services in the chapel. Burial will follow in New Oakhill Cemetery.
