Betty Dunn, 84, died of natural causes at 5:33 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at her residence, 14283 W. 3rd Road, Plymouth

Betty was born on March 13, 1924, in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Riser.

On June 22, 1973, in Goshen, Ind., Betty and Lavon A. Dunn were married. Lavon died on July 15, 2005.

Betty retired from Uniroyal after working there for 30 years.

She enjoyed gardening and playing euchre.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter.

One son is Robert L. Dunn of Plymouth and his children, Samantha Dunn and her children, Isaiah and Ashton: Roberta (Deane) Norris and their daughter, Kaily Jo and Andy (Shelly) Hartman and daughter, Allissa. The second son is John C. (Dorothy) Dunn of Plymouth and their children Danny (Nancy) and their children, R.J., and Bailey; Denise (Roscoe) White and their children, Michael White and Brandon (Sarah) White and their daughter, Lilli, and son Lonnie (Tammy) Wireman and their family: Adam, Ashley, Michael and Cody, survive as well.

Betty’s daughter, Susan E. (Dennis) Johnson ( Fraschetti) of Plymouth and their children Ryan and TyJay, survive as well.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, her husband, and a son, Private First Class, Michael Dunn.

Friends are invited to share memories with her family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

The Chaplain Tom Padberg from the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care will officiate.

Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery, on US 6, West of LaPaz, Ind.

Memorial gifts may be made to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., in Betty’s name.
