January 13, 1942 — July 3, 2024

Plymouth

Bonnie L. Bulger, 82, of Plymouth passed away surrounded by her family on July 3, 2024. She was born in Decatur, IN on January 13, 1942 to James and Margaret Ritter.

In union with the love of her life, Theodore Bulger, Bonnie embarked on a journey of love and commitment when they exchanged vows on March 15, 1957. Together, they shared 48 beautiful years filled with cherished memories as they nurtured their children: Cindy, Tim, Cherry, Candy, Cammy, Connie, and Christy. Being a mother was Bonnie's greatest joy, and the arrival of grandchildren and great-grandchildren added an extra sparkle to her ever-growing family.

Bonnie and Ted cultivated their bond through shared experiences such as leisurely Sunday movie dates and rounds of golf at their favorite course. Among their adventures together, trips to Lake Havasu City held a special place in their hearts as they visited their daughter Cindy and son-in-law Rusty in that scenic slice of paradise.

A busybody by nature, you could often find Bonnie outside tending to her flower garden. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and keeping her home in immaculate condition. Animals held a special place in Bonnie's heart; her fondness for dogs and cats shone through as she cared for them throughout the years.

Those who knew Bonnie will forever remember her cheerful personality. Her family holds dear memories of her open-hearted nature and unwavering forgiveness – traits they aim to carry forward as lasting tributes to her legacy. As a devoted wife, nurturing mother, and doting grandmother characterized by spunkiness and embracing others' differences, Bonnie leaves a legacy of love and compassion for others.

A woman of strong faith, Bonnie was a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her children, Cindy (Keith - Rusty) Rose, Tim (Renee) Bulger, Cherry Bulger, Cammy (Randy) Jones, Connie Peace, and Chirsty Ramsey (Gary White); 14 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with siblings, Shirley Lyons, Larry (Betsy) Ritter, and Janice Norris.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; parents, James and Margaret; daughter, Candy Bulger; grandsons, Ryan McCan and Joseph Muller; brother, James (Katie) Ritter; and brother-in-law, Tom Norris.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 11AM-1PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Pastor Kayla Grehl officiating.
