Bonnie M. Hundt, 62, a lifetime resident of Marshall County, died of natural causes at her residence, 13680 West 5 C Road, Plymouth, at 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2000.
Bonnie was born in Argos on August 30, 1937, the daughter of Clyde and Esther Powers McCoige. She attended Argos High School.
On October 30, 1955, in Argos, Bonnie and Robert E. “Bob” Hundt were married.
Bonnie was a homemaker and co-owner and operator of Hundt’s Auto Salvage on 5 C Road.
An active member of the Women of the Moose, Bonnie loved to play Bingo. She also enjoyed flea markets and was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She spent her last years giving special care to her husband.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bob, a daughter and a son: Becky and Terry A. Doody and Eugene and Lee Anne Hundt, all of Plymouth.
Four grandchildren also survive together with a brother, Bruce and Shirley McCoige, Pekin, Ill., and two sisters, Marge and Jim Mewszel, Plymouth and Susie and Tony Denney, Argos.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jim and Bill McCoige.
Visitation will be in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, on Sunday, July 23, 2000, from 3 to 7 p.m. The Women of the Moose will hold a special service at 7 p.m.
The funeral services on Monday, July 24, will be in the funeral home at 10 a.m. The Rev. Steven Resner, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church where Bonnie was a member, will officiate.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery.
