Brock K. Miller

Brock K. Miller, 85, of 805 Baker St., Plymouth, Ind., formerly a 69 year resident of Allenford, Ontario, Canada, died in Miller’s Merry Manor of natural causes at 3:39 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2005. He had been a Plymouth resident since 1988.

Born in Park Head, Ontario, Canada on October 6, 1919, Brock was the son of James E. and Mary Dornan Miller. He graduated from High School in Allenford, Ontario, Canada. Brock served in the Canadian Army for four years.

On May 19, 1988, Brock and Dixie Frazier Lattimer, who met in Florida, were married in Plymouth. Dixie preceded Brock in death on December 9, 2003. A retired farmer and greens keeper at Sauble Golf Course for 22 years, Brock loved to golf and enjoyed watching sports, especially tennis.

He was a member of the Legion in Ontario, Canada, and attended the Plymouth Church of the Brethren. Brock is survived by a step-daughter, Rebecca Hindman of Elkhart, Ind, and three step-sons: Michael G. and Suzanne Lattimer of Leesburg, Ind.; David C. and Wanda Lattimer of Argos, Ind. and John C. and Gwen Lattimer of Muncie, Ind. A sister, Rena Kennedy of Guelph, Ontario, Canada; a brother-in-law, Albert Wilkinson of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dixie, a brother Lloyd Miller, and two sisters: Clara Miller and Amy Wilkinson.

There will be no visitation. A family service will be held.

Interment will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Ind.
