Carl A. Stewart “Pee-Wee”, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Golden Living Care, Knox.

Born on February 5, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of Eugene and Naomi (Egnor) Stewart.

Carl worked for McCord’s manufacturing radiators for 15 years before becoming self-employed. Known as easy going, quiet, reserved, caring and loving gentleman who had a sweet smile that would warmup a room as soon as he entered. He enjoyed eating his favorite foods whenever possible from taco bell and anywhere that had pizza.

His willingness to help so many is what his family will remember the most about him. In fact, the nurses at Golden Living will miss him as one of their helpers. Carl was an avid sports fan especially when it came to football with his beloved Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Patriots.

Most importantly Carl loved his Lord and Savior Jesus.

He is survived by his daughter Brandi Murch of Ocala, Fl; siblings: James (Sharon) Stewart, Patricia Harness of Plymouth; Mary Hostetler of Plymouth; Grace Stewart of Koontz Lake; Betty (Doug) Whiteman of Plymouth; Ellen (Brian) Brown of Walkerton; Candy (Michael) Shurpert and Samantha Stewart of Plymouth; 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, his son’s: Tony, Michael and Marshall, brothers: Kenneth, Allen, Eugene, Raymond Hummel, Raymond Harness and Dennis Hostetler.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 3-5 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.

Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
