Charles Junior Wagers, 65, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Northwest Health Hospital, LaPorte with his wife by his side. He was born on April 17, 1959, in Bremen, Indiana to Charles and Dorothy (Linderman) Wagers.
He attended Oregon Davis High School, graduating with the class of 1978. Charles married Donna L. Stailey on June 28, 1981, in Koontz Lake. Charles started meat cutting at the age of 13 and later became the owner of Koontz Lake Meat Market.
He is survived by his wife Donna, daughters Danielle (Bobby) Egger and Chanon (David) Peacock, eight grandchildren Emma, Zane, Kaylan, Kaiden, Madeline, Sophia, Shawn, and Zoe, and one great-granddaughter Georgia Ann.
He is preceded in death by his dad, sister and nephew.
He was loved by many and will be forever remembered for his fine cuts of meat at the Koontz Lake Market.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:30 am at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1314 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563 with Pastor Eric Ahlemeyer officiating. A meal celebrating the life of Charles will immediately follow at the church.
