Charlotte A. Lambert

March 13, 1941 — January 12, 2018

Charlotte Ann (Skelton) Lambert, 76, left this life on Friday morning January 12, 2018 at Trailpoint Village in South Bend. She formally lived at Argos Garden Court before moving to Trailpoint Village in December 2016.

Charlotte was born on March 13, 1941 to Hobart Kenneth Skelton and Lucille Mae Satterfield (both deceased) in Princeton, Indiana. She had one brother, Frederick Wayne (deceased), sister, Connie Kay (deceased) and an older sister, Carolyn Sue

Phipps, who survives of North Vernon, Indiana. She leaves nieces, Kathy (Phipps) Haines and Lori (Phipps) Rice, nephews, Ronald W. and Immanuel Phipps, and many cousins.

Charlotte graduated from the ISSC Home in Knightstown, Indiana in May of 1959. She also earned a Degree at Ancilla College in Donaldson, Indiana.

Before retirement, she was employed at Pilgrim Farm, Gas America, Bomarko and Casey’s General Store.

Charlotte spent much of her time reading to the children at the schools in Plymouth. She was a very kind and caring person to all she came in contact with. Charlotte attended the Red Skelton Festival in Vincennes every year (as a clown), and the Homecoming at Knightstown with her sister, Carolyn.

She last attended the Argos Methodist Church. Her friends and neighbors will certainly miss seeing her on her walks. Charlotte would tell everyone that she was “Heavenly Blessed”, and now she truly is.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday January 18, 2018 at the New Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel, 1300 Chester Street, Plymouth.

Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
