Danny Lee Stahl, 45, a resident of Plymouth, passed away at 12:35 p.m. Friday, March 6th in Hospice House of St. Joseph County from natural causes. A Plymouth resident most of his lifetime, he resided on Clark Street with his wife Dana and faithful friend Buddy a Black Mix Labrador.
Danny was born the son of Harold Edward and Darlene (Moyer) Stahl in Brook, Indiana on July 16, 1963. He is a graduate of Triton High School.
In May of 1983 he and Dana L. Gildner were united in marriage, she survives.
Danny had been employed with Hoosier Tire and most recently was in the shipping and receiving department at Fairmont Homes in Nappanee. He also operated Dan’s Landscaping and Lawn Service.
Danny enjoyed times fishing and hunting and was a big fan of NASCAR – following the likes of Jeff Burton and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was also a former member of the Sons of the American Legion, Plymouth Post 27.
Surviving along with his wife Dana is his mother; Darlene Stahl of South Bend, his mother-in-law; Iris Gildner of Plymouth, grandmother; Mary Moyer of Hammond, Ind. and step-grandfather; Kenneth Iliff of Argos. His sisters include; April (Timothy) Davis and Rebecca N. Stahl and brothers; Earl Edward Stahl, Jimmy Joe Stahl and step brother; Jerry (Theresa) Chapman all of South Bend. Roberta and Michael Stahl a half sister and brother of Chicago survive with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father; Harold Stahl, grandfather; Earl E. Stahl, grandmother; Pansy Iliff and four uncles and three aunts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth where services will be conducted by Pastor Jim Patrick at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10th.
Burial will follow in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth. Preferred memorial gifts may be given to Danny’s family.
