Dennis Eugene Morris

Dennis Eugene Morris, 66, passed away on November 19, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He was the son of Preston and Ruth (Neidlinger) Morris, born on April 4, 1958 at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth.

Attending Plymouth High School, Denny was a proud graduate of the Class of 1976. Through the years, he held a career as a mechanic working with his father. Denny also worked as a part-time electrician with his uncle.

Denny will be missed for his humorous personality. His family fondly remembers how he made them laugh and smile. Denny was also an incredibly giving person, often making sacrifices for himself to help others.

Fishing was one of Denny’s favorite things to do. There’s numerous memories at his favorite fishing spot in Argos with his brother-in-law, Ed. He also enjoyed attending car shows and watching NASCAR. Denny enjoyed playing billiards and playing his guitar; a passion that started when he was in a band in his younger years.

Through the years, Denny looked forward to traveling to Florida, various locations in Indiana, and riding along with Ed in his semi-truck to places like Chicago and Michigan.

Denny is survived by his siblings, Diana (Ed) Budka, David (Tracey) Morris, and Donna (James) Burroughs in addition to several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Ruth.

Denny will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery with his parents.
