Dolores M. Dague, 87, 609 West Tanglewood Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., died of natural causes in Fountain View Place at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2004.
Born in Bremen, Ind., on September 6, 1917, Dolores was the daughter of Louis and Nellie Heminger Wolfgang. On December 20, 1935, in Plymouth, Dolores and Kenneth C. Dague were married. Kenneth died on December 4, 1987.
A homemaker, Dolores enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She loved her dogs and was an accomplished vegetable gardener.
An adventurous person, after her husband died, she, at the age of 70, recognizing the need, got her first driver’s license.
She is survived by Glenice Bennett, a niece, living in Osceola, Ind., a grand-niece, Karen Meister, in Mishawaka and a sister, Hazel Treesh, also an Osceola resident. Several other great- nieces and nephews survive as well.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by brothers Carl, Ralph, Paul, Richard and Audrey Wolfgang Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2004, in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. in the Chapel on Thursday, April 8, 2004. The Rev. Charles Krieg, pastor of the Salem United Methodist Church, Bremen, will officiate.
Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Ind.
