Dorothy Kaser, 71, of 222 South Street, LaPaz, who had been living with her son for the last four years died of natural causes at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, in Plymouth’s St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Born in Churubusco, Ind., on June 28, 1931, Dorothy was the daughter of Enoch and Ruby Arnett Cole. On September 27, 1951, in the Walkerton Methodist Church, she and Clarence Kaser were married. Clarence died on October 13, 1984. A homemaker, Dorothy’s main interests were being a good mother and grandmother. These things she did very, very well. She is survived by a son, Jake (Cindy) Kaser, Plymouth, and four daughters. They are Judy (Dale) Lancaster, LaPaz; Carol (Mark) Groves, Walkerton; Sandy (Jim) Pollock, LaPaz and Betty (Bernie) Reichard, Tippecanoe. Six brothers also survive: Ed (Paula) Cole; Vance Cole; Clyde Cole; Pete (Becky) Jimerson; Russ (Janella) Jimerson; Wayne (Stacy) Jimerson. Five sisters survive as well. They are: Virgie (Carl) Eaton; Mary (Gene) Runyan; Mae Samuels; Phyllis (Al) Pohl; Donna (Richard) Gouker. Eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Roy and Thelma, a sister. Visitation with friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2002, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services for Dorothy will be in the funeral home on Friday, December 20, 2002, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Steve Cox, pastor of the Cornerstone Fellowship, LaPaz, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fair Cemetery, N.W of LaPaz, Indiana.
