Dorothy M. Trump, 15633 Redwood Road, Culver, died of natural causes in Plymouth’s Pilgrim Manor at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2003. She was 88 years old.
Born in Newton County, Indiana, Dorothy was the daughter of Frank G. and Turla McKee Henderson. She graduated from Morocco High School in 1933.
On January 5, 1952, in Plymouth’s First United Methodist Church, Dorothy and Harold Trump were married.
She was a clerical worker in Hawthorn-Melody’s office for 20 years, retiring in 1977. An avid reader, Dorothy enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and loved to sew.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Harold and a daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Milton Zimmerman, Plymouth. A granddaughter, Valerie and William Burgdorf, Wheeling, Ill., and a grandson, Todd Patterson, Mishawaka, also survive together with three great-grandchildren and a sister, Delores Doelling of Valparaiso.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven Patterson, a grandson, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, December 29, to celebrate Dorothy’s life journey.
Funeral services will be held after visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Pat Orr will officiate.
Interment will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Dorothy’s honor may be made to the Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
