Duane L. Miller

Duane L. Miller, 69, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.

Born on March 22, 1955, in Goshen, Indiana, he was the son of Harvey and Ida (Bender) Miller. He attended Northridge High School, graduating with the class of 1973.

Duane met Cheri through mutual friends, and they became inseparable. On July 18, 1992, they were married in Plymouth.

Duane worked in the grocery business as a manager for 25 years, a financial advisor for American Express to eventually owning his own company. He was known as being an outgoing man that would do anything for anyone who loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was passionate about golfing, spending time on the lake thoroughly enjoying water sports. Duane also loved to travel, especially Jamaica, going on cruises and spending time in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife Cheri Miller, stepdaughter Betty Troyer and her children Kaitlyn and Nicholas; his siblings: Marlene (Ez) Miller, De (Mike) Sellers, Sharon (James) Brandenberger and Don Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was close to many dear friends and their children.

Duane is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Marion Miller.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
