Dusty A. Blevins, 52, unexpectedly passed away on March 25, 2024, leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved him. Dusty was born on May 25, 1971, in Chillicothe, OH to Guy Hubert Blevins and Edith Brown.
Throughout his life, Dusty was known for his strong work ethic. He never slowed down and always gave his best to everything he undertook. His career was a reflection of his dedication and commitment to hard work.
One of the fondest memories shared by Dusty's loved ones is the time spent together over weekends. He cherished these moments with his family. Dusty had a special knack for making friends wherever he went and had a wide circle of friends.
He was known for being stubborn and having a strong will that often led him to insist on things being done his way. Despite this, he had a humorous side that brought joy to those around him. Dusty had a funny sense of humor that not everyone understood, but those who loved him got it.
Dusty had a variety of interests that brought color to his life. Whether fishing or passionately following Notre Dame sports and NASCAR races (having even attended a few), he enjoyed immersing himself in his hobbies. A dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dusty's enthusiasm for sports was unmistakable.
Dusty will be dearly missed by his daughter, Athena (Brandon) Snider; granddaughter, Everly; mother, Edith Blevins; siblings, Kelly Blevins, Angela Shepherd, Angel Blevins, and Charity Norton; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Guy Hubert Blevins and cousin, Rodney “Bud” Montgomery.
