Edith Cullison-Smith

Edith Cullison-Smith, 91, a Plymouth resident since 1939, died at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, may 30, 2009 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.

Edith had been a teacher at Plymouth High School for 20 years, retiring in 1982.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Kay Bonner of Whitestown, IN; a son, Dr. Thomas R. Cullison of Bethesda, MD; seven grand children; two step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Norma Haley of San Antonio, TX and two brothers: Larry A. Whinery of Huntington, IN and Gene Whinery of Warren, IN.

Friends may visit with Edith’s family on Sunday, May 30, 2009, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan St.

Funeral services for Edith will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Ruth Yoder officiating.

Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial’s in Edith’s memory may be made to the Marshall County Historical Society.
