Elizabeth A. Matthews

Elizabeth A. Matthews, 70, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1954 to William Hon and Sally Lucas in LaPorte, IN.

Elizabeth was known for her kind heart with good intentions. Despite many health challenges throughout her life, she maintained a joyful spirit and cherished the moments spent with friends during social gatherings.

In her younger years, Elizabeth found joy in nature, engaging in activities such as hiking, mushroom hunting, and camping, which reflected her love for the outdoors.

Elizabeth was a member of the New Song Church in Plymouth.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Jeremy Brantley, David (Tami) Brantley, Eva (Mark) Naragon, Leslie (Jake) Gianni, and Jackie (Josh) Taylor; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Steve, Bill, Mike and Jackie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sally; daughter, Jenny; and siblings, Kevin and Emm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 1-3PM with a Service at 2:30PM at New Song Church, 1292 Baker Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
