A Marshall County resident all of her life, Ellalene A. Sallee, 90, died at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2005, in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Center, Plymouth.
Born in Argos, Ind. on May 11, 1915, Ellalene was the daughter of Harry and Lois McWhartor Zumbaugh. She graduated from Argos High School.
Ellalene was married to Charles M. Sallee. Charles preceded her in death in 1961.
She worked for the J. C. Penney Company for many years, retiring in 1988.
Ellalene is survived by a son, Kent Sallee of Plymouth.
Graveside services for Ellalene will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
