Ellen Nadine Fox, 80, formerly of Suter Road in Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
Born in Plymouth on August 28, 1934, Nadine was the daughter of John Wilber and Hazel Glenn (Iler) Mowiser. She was a graduate of Argos High School.
On April 21, 1956 in Monterey, Indiana, Nadine married Theodore “Ted” J. Fox and the couple would then settle in Plymouth. Ted would precede Nadine in death on August 21, 2005.
Nadine worked as a customer service clerk for NIPSCO for 42 years until her retirement in 1994. Nadine was an avid reader. She also enjoyed traveling with Ted in the summers and going to Florida during the winter months after her retirement. She cherished family reunions and enjoyed any time spent with her family members. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
Nadine is survived by numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ted.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 in the First United Church of Christ, 321 N Center St, Plymouth, with Rev. AnnMarie Kneebone officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service in the church.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
