Erma Margaret Huff Renz, 94 formerly of 1564 Queen Road Walkerton, died at 10:15 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2005, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. She was born on December 6, 1911, in Manistee, Michigan to Theodore and Martha Lindeman Huff.
She was married to August Renz, Sr. who passed away on April 15, 1977 in Plymouth, Indiana.
Erma was a resident of the Marshall County area for nearly 70 years. She was a homemaker taking care of her children and tending to her vegetable garden and her beautiful flowers.
Erma is survived by her four sons Ronald R. and August Renz, Jr. both of Plymouth, Elwood A. (Kay) Renz, Lapaz, and James L. Renz, Walkerton.
She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren.
Erma was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Donald Eugene, four step – daughters, Marcella, Opal, Ivis, Avis and two brothers; Edward and Walter. One grandchild also preceded her in death. Visitation for Erma will be held Thursday December 29, 2005 from 1 to 2 pm in the Johnson – Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St. Plymouth, Indiana.
Funeral Services for Erma will be held at Thursday December 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Brian Baughman, Pastor of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church officiating.
Burial will be in Center Polk Cemetery, Lapaz, Indiana
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
