Glen Thomas Davis, 73, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Culver. Born on May 14, 1951, in Chicago, IL, Glen was the son of Hobart and Helen (Siwy) Davis. 

Glen proudly served in the United States Army, serving in Korea at the young age of 17. Throughout his life, he worked in various capacities, but his true passion was as a mechanic, where he dedicated many years until health challenges arose.

Glen was married to Veronica Sabo, with whom he welcomed two sons, Walter and Glen Jr. Later, he married Debra Dial, together they raised their son Michael. Although Debra survives him, he is preceded in death by all three of his beloved children.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Glen will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor and his infectious, lighthearted spirit that brought joy to those around him. His kindness and generosity were his hallmarks. He also possessed a creative side, showcasing his talent through expressive pencil drawings.

Glen is survived by his wife, Debra Davis; siblings, Patricia Lamb, Sr. Deborah Davis - PHJC, Steve Davis, Carol (Jerry) Vond, and Donna (Kenny) Sutton; grandchildren, Mikey, Noah and Jordan; along with several nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Helen; children, Walter Davis, Glen Davis, Jr., and Michael Davis; siblings, Robert Davis and Mary Pop; and first wife, Veronica Sabo. 

A brief prayer service with storytelling will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024, 10:00 am EDT in Convent Ancilla Domini Chapel, Donaldson, IN followed with Mass of Resurrection at 11am EDT. 

Glen will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL at a later date.
