Glenda C. Laffoon Hubbard, 85, passed away in her home at 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Lifetime resident, Glenda was born in Plymouth, Indiana on August 17, 1933 to Glenn and Margaret (Amones) Ames. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1951.
On February 3, 1952 in Plymouth, Glenda married David Laffoon. The couple would raise three children: Lane, Jan and Valerie. She was proceeded in death by her husband David on June 23rd 1990.
Glenda worked as a teller for the Marshall County Building and Loan for 17 years until her retirement. She also worked as a window model and enjoyed exercising. Glenda was very musically talented. She loved to travel, taking trips with her beloved family. After David passed she married William Hubbard, who proceeded her in death December 9, 2006.
She is survived by her children: Lane A. (Jennifer) Laffoon of Plymouth, IN, Jan E. (Daniel) Lanham of Kincaid, WV and Valerie Jean (Robert) Schafer of Plymouth, IN; grandchildren: Eleesha Schafer (Andrew Schroeder), Lee Schafer and David Lanham and 11 great-grandchildren: Logan, Ava and Vivian Schafer, Kyan and Jaxon Schroeder, Kenny, Keaton, and Kody Stewart, Kaylee, Dawson and Sadie Johnson.
Preceding her in death are first husband David Laffoon, second husband William Hubbard, her parents Glenn and Margaret Ames, best friend Bonnie McLouchlin, and granddaughter Sarah Adena Lanham Taylor on April 12, 2004.
Visitation will be on Friday December 28th at 3 p.m. at the Johnson Danielson Funeral Home 1100 N. Michigan Street Plymouth Indiana with services with Rev. Charles Krieg following at 4 p.m.
Glenda will be dearly cherished and missed by all that knew and loved her.
