Harold K. Wentzel, 85, of Plymouth, entered eternal life on Friday, February 26, 2016. Harold was born June 29, 1930 to Peter and Amanda (Copeland) Wentzel, the youngest of seven children. He served our Country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Harold married Nancy Gill and they were married for sixty one years. This union was blessed with three children; Cindy, Mark, and Ann.
Harold loved the outdoors; he enjoyed gardening, hunting mushrooms, and deer hunting. He also enjoyed watching sports.
Surviving is his wife; Nancy, of Plymouth, daughter; Cindy Pucciarelli, of Plymouth, Son and a daughter-in-law; Mark and Cheryl Wentzel, of Lakeville, and a daughter and a son-in-law; Ann and Craig Rose, of North Judson. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Amanda Rose, Carl Rose, Jason Parmley, Crystal Parmley, along with two great-grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Covert, Elwood, and Lester, three sisters; Betty, Mary, and Vivian, and a son-in-law; John.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1314 North Michigan Street, with Rev. Eric M. Ahlemeyer officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
