Helen Holloway, 79, of 420 Klinger St., Plymouth, died after a long and courageous battle against cancer, at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008, in Pilgrim Manor.
Born in Tacoma, Washington, she attended high school in Tacoma and in November, 1952, was married, in Argos, Ind., to Ronald Holloway.
She worked for a short time in the late 1950s at the Kingsbury Ammunition Plant.
Helen enjoyed her family and friends. She did needlework, making attractive rugs, loved her cats and working in her garden.
She is survived by Ronald, her husband of 55 years and by their two sons, Thomas Holloway, Myers Lake, Ind., and Dennis Holloway, Rochester, Ind.
A brother-in-law, Lowell Holloway, Ariz., also survives.
Friends are invited to visit with her family and share memories of Helen from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services for Helen will follow visitation at 1 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
Interment will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
