Helen M. Dulle

October 30, 1936 — June 5, 2022

Helen M. Dulle, 85, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday morning June 5, 2022, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

She was born in Decatur, Indiana on October 30, 1936, to Virgil and Lola (Bollenbacher) Cook.

On November 23, 1961, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Helen became the bride of Ambrose “Tom” H. Dulle.

She worked as a secretary for local law firms, but her biggest joy came from working as an aide for the Jesse Program. Helen adored working with autistic children.

Helen was feisty and loved life. She was working on getting stronger in rehab and looking forward to coming home and was fighting hard for that goal.

Tom and Helen traveled all 48 of the lower United States, and she also enjoyed sewing. She took pride in making her family’s clothes and sewing matching family sets for trips and vacations. They are members of St. Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and helped Tom teach CCD classes for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tom, and daughter Monica and her son, Spencer.

Helen was preceded in death by her son, Doug B. Dulle on September 7, 1991, and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Spenser St. Louis officiating, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 613 N. Center Street. Visitation will be held in the church prior from 11-1 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 12:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Michael Church, 612 N. Walnut Street, Plymouth.
