Helen M. Schneider, 95, 730 School Street, Culver, died of natural causes in Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver, at 6:45 a.m. on Monday morning, November 15, 2010.
Helen was born in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 6, 1914. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Miedona Kizior. She attended school through the 8th grade.
She married Edward R. Schneider in Chicago and was a devoted homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.
She is survived by two sons and three grandsons. Her sons are Fred and Tom Schneiders, both of Plymouth.
Her grandsons are Steve Schneider, Fishers, Ind., Mark Schneider and Ed Schneider, both of Plymouth.
Six great-grandchildren and one-great-great grandchild survives as well.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert and four brothers.
Friends may visit and share memories with Helen’s family on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services for Helen will follow visitation at 11 o’clock at the same location. The Rev. Father William Kummer, pastor of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, where Helen was a member, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
Memorial gifts in Helen’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
