Hulda Ruth Winterrowd

Hulda Ruth Winterrowd, 89, formerly of Rochester passed away at 6:32 am on Friday, October 2, 2009 in Millers Merry Manor where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. She was born on October 27, 1919 in Moline, Illinois to Barney and Pearl Jones Kelly.
Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ruth was always interested in her family’s achievements and accomplishments.
Ruth is survived by a daughter and three sons, they are: Carol (David) Jensen, Plymouth, Edward (Linda) Hartmann, Florida, John (Karen) Oden, Plymouth, and David Winterrowd, Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is also survived by a step-daughter and two step-sons, they are: Darlene Winterrowd, Plymouth, Michael (Vicky) Winterrowd, Lakeville, Indiana and Dennis Winterrowd, South Bend, Indiana.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husbands, a daughter Roberta and three brothers and a sister, Clyde, Eugene, Louis and Frances.
A graveside service for Ruth officiated by Rev. Les Johnson will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday October 6, 2009 in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer society.
