Former Plymouth resident Jane M. Getsinger, 75, died in Plain City, Ohio on June 25, 2000. She left Plymouth in 1982, moving to Westerville, Ohio.
Born the daughter of Raymond and Kathrene McDonald, Jane graduated from Carnegie Mellon University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
She was married to John S. “Jack” Getsinger. Jack preceded her in death on April 25, 1970.
While in Plymouth, Jane and Charles Robertson developed the Carriage Hills Subdivision from Jane’s farm. She enjoyed cards and travel, heading up the Plymouth Travel Agency. In Westerville, Ohio, she worked for the Cardinal Travel Agency.
Jane is survived by a son, John Scott and Teresa Getsinger, Versailles, Ky., and a daughter, Cindy and Jeff Hix of Plain City. Five grandchildren survive as well: Kent Getsinger, Jessica and Charlie Hand, Brad, Chris and Josh Wilhoit.
Memorial services were held at the Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville, Ohio.
Burial will be in Big Darby Cemetery, Plain City, Ohio.
