Janet R. Lee, a lifetime Plymouth resident, died in the loving care of her family, friends and the Marshall County Hospice, at her residence, 807 Angel St., at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 28, 2000. Janet was 54 years old; she was diagnosed with cancer in March of this year.
Born in Plymouth, the daughter of Frank E., Jr., and Dollie E. Palmer Bair on November 8, 1946, Janet was a graduate of West High School in the class of 1964.
On June 26, 1965, in Plymouth, she and David A. Lee were married.
For 14 years she worked as a data processor for Behavioral Health Care in Plymouth.
Janet enjoyed camping with family and friends in most of Indiana’s State Parks. She collected ceramic Snow Angels, Snowballs and Snow Babies.
Janet is survived by her husband, David and their two sons and their families. They are Mark A. and Denise Lee and son, Austyn and Scott D. and Dolly Lee and their children Crystal, and Scottie, Jr., all of Plymouth.
Her parents of Plymouth also survive, together with Larry F. and Bonnie Bair, a brother in Stockbridge, Georgia, and Catharine L. Lee, her mother-in-law, Plymouth.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2000, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2000, in the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Krieg, pastor of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church of which Janet was a member, will officiate.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
