Janice Lou Henderson

Janice Lou Henderson, 58, of Argos passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 while visiting friends in Russellville, KY. Born on September 13, 1966 in Rochester, Janice was the daughter of Samuel and Audrie (Hensley) Wright.

Janice was a woman whose life was beautifully woven around her faith and the love of her family. She took great comfort in her spiritual journey, marked by her baptism at the Church of Jesus Christ in Argos. A true testament to her spirit, Janice possessed a remarkable singing voice, which she joyfully offered in praise to the Lord.

Her love for the ocean was evident; Janice had a special fondness for beaches, particularly those in sunny Florida. Each destination she explored brought her joy, and she delighted in collecting key chains and coffee cups as mementos. These tokens held precious memories for her, especially when gifted by family and friends on their travels.

In quieter moments, Janice found solace in the pages of a good book, eagerly embracing the worlds within them. Her zest for life was infectious, and her bubbly, sassy personality made every gathering warmer and more vibrant.

As we remember Janice, we celebrate the light she brought into our lives. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who loved her.

Janice is survived by her siblings, Joseph Wright, John Wright, Jack (Sarah) Wright, Helen Epley, and Wanda Lloyd; brothers-in-law, Ken Schori and Lee Fritter; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her furry faithful companion, Lulu survives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Audrie; siblings, Jamie Wright, Harold (Joyce) Wright, Lorena Fritter, Elizabeth Wright, Rita Pennington, and Sandra Schori.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Church of Jesus Christ in Argos.
