Jeannette E. “Jay” Russo, 68, coming from Chicago four years ago and living on Cook Lake Trail, Plymouth, died of natural causes in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, at 6:26 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2007.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 15, 1938, Jay was the daughter of August and Rose Wojak Russo. She attended Harrison High School in Chicago.
She worked for a number of years as a supervisor at Illinois Lock Factory in Chicago, making keys.
Jay was a member of the Plymouth Moose, the Eagles, the Elks and the American Legion.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Nicholas and a brother, John Russo, both of Des Plaines, Illinois.
A friend, Cindy Procter of Plymouth also survives together with several nieces and nephews.
Jay was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Russo.
Friends will be welcomed to visit with her family on Friday, January 12, 2007, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Indiana.
Funeral services for Jay will follow visitation at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial gifts in Jay’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
