Jerry L. Foor

Jerry L. Foor, 60, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Indiana Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born on December 15, 1963 in South Bend, Indiana, he was the son of Dale and Carolyn (Ranstead) Foor. He attended South Bend Riley High School, graduating with the class of 1982.

Jerry married Cheryl Johnson in Sebring, Fl in 2001. Together they shared 23 wonderful years together. He worked for Leer ‘Midwest Logistics’ and  Shells as a truck driver.

He was a one-of-a-kind man that had his own language with his family. Jerry was known for his very strong work ethic, always making sure that his family was well taken care of, and this stemmed down to his sons that provide for their families now.

He absolutely loved his family from his children to grandchildren. It was all work during the week, but the weekends were meant to kickback by watching and playing sports, to sitting around a bonfire and the occasional flashlight tag with the kids.

Jerry will be tremendously missed by all those that knew him well.

He is survived by his parents Dale (Carolyn) Foor of Plymouth; wife Cheryl of Plymouth; sons: Jeremy Foor of Plymouth; Joshua (Halie) Foor of Argos; Jayden Foor of Plymouth; grandchildren Dawson and Auroa Foor; brother Larry (Laurie) Foor of Plymouth; nephew Craig (Missy) Foor, nieces: Leah, Mya and Emma Foor.

Jerry is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph (Lorraine) Foor and James (Flossie) Ranstead.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 5-7 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
