Jessica Lynn Spiewak

Jessica Lynn “Jessy” Spiewak, 24, of 19838 14B Road, Culver, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, December 22, 2004.

Known and loved as a caring person, she would go out of her way for anyone and always showed concern for others. Her family ties were of the utmost importance to her.

She was a Culver resident for nearly the past 8 years, having come from Chicago.

Born in Chicago on December 6, 1980, Jessica was the daughter of Thomas H. and Cathy A. Hagen Spiewak. She was baptized into the German Lutheran faith.

She graduated from Culver High School in the class of 1998, attended Ancilla College where she recently completed her course work as a licensed real estate salesperson.

She loved animals, large and small… her paint horse, 007; her many cats and dogs with her favorite being Ozzy. She liked to travel and recently enjoyed a trip to Florida. She loved Karaoke nights and enjoyed all types of music. Her mother was her best friend and they were forever together.

Jessy is survived by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas C. and Amanda Hagen, Granger, Ind.

Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive her death and will miss her enormously.

Jessy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Alice Hagen and her paternal grandparents, John and Josephine Spiewak.

Visitation with her family will be held from 2 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2004, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind. An evening vigil prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Father Glenn Kohrman, pastor of St. Mary’s of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Culver, will officiate both services.

Interment will be in the Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Ind.
