Johnny Calhoun, 86 passed away peacefully on March 5, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
He was born on January 10, 1934 to Lowell and Rose Calhoun in Rochester, Indiana. After graduating from Culver High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served in the Korean War. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan he met the love of his life Fumiko Calhoun (Watlaie), who survives. They shared 62 wonderful years. Johnny worked in manufacturing making bathtubs before he retired. Per the wishes of the family, burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
