Joleen K. Knepper, 51, of 10557 Renfair Drive, Plantersville, Texas, died in her home at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006.
Born in Plymouth on July 28, 1955, the daughter of Jerry K. Knepper and Judith A. Myers-Brown, Joleen lived in Plymouth until 1974, and spent the past five years of her life in the Texas area.
She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1973.
A talented dancer, for two years, she traveled around England with a dance troupe. She then performed in Renaissance Fairs all over the United States.
Most recently, she concentrated on her work in photography. Her photographs and prints are displayed and available for sale in a Studio in Texas.
Joleen will be sadly missed by the many friends that she acquired during her travels and by her family members. She is survived by her mother, Judith A. and step-father, George R. Brown, Winona Lake, Indiana, and by her father, Jerry K. Knepper, and step-mother, Ann M. Knepper, of Culver.
A sister, Jacqueline S. Jozwiak, Middlebury, Indiana, and three brothers, Jon K. Knepper, Sulphur, Louisiana: Chad E. Knepper, South Bend, Indiana, and Brad A. Knepper, Sandwich, Illinois, also survive together with a half-brother, James A. Hartung, Georgia, and a step-brother, William P. Brown, Plymouth, Indiana.
Joleen’s maternal grandmother, Sylvia I. Myers of North Liberty, Indiana, survives as well.
She was preceded in death by Donald E. Myers, her maternal grandfather and her paternal grandparents, Maro C. and Opal A. Knepper.
Friends are invited to come for a time of sharing memories and celebrating the life of Joleen on Thursday, November 30, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Joleen’s memory may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society.
