Joseph “Joe” Frid, 28, of 322 Lewis Street, Plymouth, died at 3:40 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2006.
Born on June 10, 1978, in Plymouth, Joe was the son of Richard and Kathy Lee Frid.
Joe was a 1996 graduate of Plymouth High School. He also had attended Ball State University.
He worked for the Plymouth School Corporation in the Maintenance Department, on the night shift. Joe had previously worked at Banfich for eight years.
Joe enjoyed music and art, loved to swim and was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed sitting by his fire pit in the back yard.
Joe is survived by his parents, Richard and Kathy Frid, a sister, Jackie and Rod Eveland, a brother, Jason Frid, his daughter, Bella Kay Frid, his fiancée, Angie Pesak, a niece, Emily Eveland and two nephews, Cameron and Cooper Eveland, all of Plymouth.
His maternal grandparents, Judge Gene B. and Mary Lee of Warsaw also survive.
Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Ingrid Frid.
Friends are invited to visit with the family and share memories of their times with Joe on Thursday, August 24, 2006 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of the Brethren, 1130 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral Services for Joe, officiated by Rev. David Kerkove, will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Bella Kay Frid Education Fund in care of Lake City Bank.
