Josephine P. “Jo” Bowman, 83, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Josephine was born to Joseph and Barbara A. (Wolkhatski) Piotrowicz on July 26, 1929 at Fish Lake, Indiana.
Jo and Delbert “Charlie” Bowman were married on December 2, 1950. They lived all their married life in LaPaz, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1999.
Jo worked at various jobs for about 30 years, including Allis Chalmers and TV Time Popcorn in Bremen. She retired in 1991.
She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband. Jo enjoyed yard work and visits from family.
Jo is survived by her three siblings: Joseph (Peggy) Piotrowicz, Jr. of Fish Lake, Genevieve (Tony) Wisolowski of Eaton, IN and Helen (Eugene) Enders of Sheldon, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pauline Kaminski and Emily Chlupacek; and brothers, John, Ferdinand, Stanley and Edward Piotrowicz.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 At St. Patrick Church, 807 Tyler Rd, Walkerton, IN 46574, with Rev. Pius Ilechukwu officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service in the church.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
