Judith “Judi” Kaye Milliser, 64, 16059 W. 9th Road, Plymouth, Ind., died of natural causes at 1:14 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Born in Warsaw, Ind., on February 20, 1940, the daughter of Ray and Margaret Bowen, On September 23, 1957, in Marshall County, she married Phillip Milliser.
Judi retired from UPS, Bourbon, Ind., in December of 2002. She was a ‘feeder driver,’ also referred to as a truck driver.
A lover of life, Judi loved her grandchildren and being with them and traveling. She loved to gamble and enjoyed trips with friends to the Casino Boat.
She was a member of the Lakeville Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and the auxiliary of the Plymouth Moose Club.
Judi is survived by her husband, Phillip, and their two daughters, a son and their families. They are Marcia Firestone, Plymouth; Tracie and Ronald Cassler, South Bend and Phillip and Julie Milliser, Jr., Plymouth.
Three grandchildren also survive: from Plymouth, there is Jennifer Sanchez and Joline Milliser. Grandson, Jonathan Phillip Cassler, is from South Bend. Three great-grandchildren, Devin, Masen and Alysen Sanchez, all of Plymouth, survive as well.
Margaret Bowen, Judi’s mother, and her four sisters and six brothers also survive. Her sisters are: Betty Goodman, South Haven, Ind., Jane Jackson, Bourbon, Ind., Linda Dickson, Bremen, Ind., and Sandy Conley, LaPaz, Ind. Her brothers are: Jim Bowen, Bremen; Rick, Dennis, Larry, Gary and Mike Bowen, all of Lakeville, Ind.
Her father, a brother, Kenneth Bowen, and a sister, Connie Finley, preceded her in death.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
