Judith L. Masterson, 69, of Plymouth, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Judi was born December 9, 1948 in Plymouth, to the late John and Ina (Brown) Hoeffer. She graduated from Tyner High School in 1966. Judi married Dillard “Bud†J. Masterson. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2003.
She worked for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth in housekeeping, and she was a former member of the Tyner United Methodist Church. Judi was a beautiful, kind-hearted woman who was loved by many. She loved making memories with her grandchildren and being with family. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Judi never allowed anyone to leave hungry because serving others is what made her happy.
Surviving are her two daughters; Amanda Sue Thompson of Plymouth and Michelle (Jerry) Lamb of Tyner, three grandchildren; Erica (Andrew) Jurgonski, Aaron (Cara Gee) Thompson and Jared (Chantal Bland) Thompson; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Thompson. Also surviving are her two brothers; Pat (Nancy) Hoeffer of Argos and Joda (Beverly) Hoeffer of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the funeral home.
