Judy K. Shively, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend surrounded by her family.

Born on July 9, 1943, in Plymouth, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wayne and Helen (Dillman) Brocksmith. She attended Plymouth High School, graduating with the class of 1961.

On March 10, 1963, she married Gary at the Plymouth Church of Christ, he survives.  Judy had an infectious soul with a contagious smile. She was a woman full of love that was without a doubt one of the sweetest, generous, and caring people that you would encounter. Judy had the hardest job in the world being the homemaker. Her family would tell you that everything was always well thought out and they never went without, and she always made sure that you made it all of the family events.

Judy was an animal lover, and she especially loved her cats, enjoyed working on word puzzles and catching up with her favorite tv program Heartland.

She is survived by her husband Gary of Bremen; children: Steve (Holli) Shively of Bremen; Kristi Hawkins of South Bend; grandchildren: Chelsea (Scott) Nichols, Chad Hawkins, Britni Hawkins, Kaelyn Shively, Ashton Shively and Mikayla Shively.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Todd Hawkins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. at the New Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel, 1300 Chester Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Jason Rohde officiating. Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions will be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, 11165 13th Rd. Plymouth, IN 46563.
