Justin P. Feathers, 29, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Justin Patrick Feathers was born in South Bend on August 18, 1983 to Gregory P. Feathers and Lori M. DeBuano. He graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 2001. Justin attended Wyoming Tech in Larime, WY. While living in Wyoming, he did auto body work and was a welder by trade. Justin loved music. He played the drums, the guitar, and saxophone for his church, as well as sang vocals. He also enjoyed painting. Justin was never one to sit still for any short point of time, and was kind and helpful to all.
He is survived by his mother, Lori (Jim) DeBuano of Bremen, and father, Greg of South Bend; his brother, Jason C. (Jessica) Feathers of New Carlisle; sister, Elizabeth E. (Kevin) Van De Mark of New Carlisle; six nieces: Renee, Morgan, Mackinzie, Teagan, Skylee and Emery; his nephew, Orbie; maternal grandparents, David and Margrett Cook of Bremen; paternal grandmother, Joyce Vogel of South Bend; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ralph Feathers, his aunt, Denise Cook, his uncle, Jeff Feathers, and cousin, Allyson Cook.
A time of fellowship will be from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 18th, 2013 at the House of Prayer United Pentecostal, 12450 Plymouth-Goshen Tr., Plymouth, IN 46563. A Memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the church, with Rev. R.D. Humphrey officiating.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
