Karen Marie Gross, 41, a former resident of Akron, Indiana, passed away at her Logansport residence at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007.
Karen was born in Iowa on October 22, 1966, the daughter of Janet DeWitt, who survives. As a young girl she moved to Indiana.
Her spouse, Frank Gross preceded her in death.
Karen was employed as a manager with McDonald’s Restaurant, located in Rochester. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting Unicorns, listening to Rock Music and following NASCAR races. Her favorite color was purple.
Surviving are six children along with five grandchildren, they are; a daughter; Tina Miller of Plymouth and her children Joe and Fabian Vasquez, daughter Shannon (Chris) Miller of LaPaz and children; Angela Miller and Christina Fleck, son Albert Miller Jr. of Arizona, daughter Angel Weiss of Fulton, Ind. and her child Kiara Weiss, a son James Weiss also of Fulton and a son Dustin Sprague of Warsaw.
Karen’s brother, Tim Mefford of Iowa also survives.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth where family and friends may call after 10 a.m.
Memorial gifts may be made to the family or the donor’s choice.
