On Thursday, May 18th, 2023, Kevin rode his 2019 Harley Davidson FXDR into the sunset one final time. Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, comic cons, bonfires, and video games.
He loved his late dog, Pineapple, who has a children’s book written about her called, “Are you a Pineapple?” Kevin enjoyed spending time with his son Atticus. They went on many adventures together. His favorite memory with Atticus was cutting down his 1st tree in the woods together. His father “Pa” and him had an amazing life with many memories and fun times as well. The three of them had a never-ending bond that will be forever cherished.
Kevin had one brother, Tyler, who has many great memories with Kevin and he will be dearly missed.
In March of 2022, he met the love of his life, Melissa. Kevin and Melissa traveled together as well as went riding their motorcycles together in the recent three months prior to his death. She loved him endlessly. Many memories of concerts and travel with them together will be forever remembered. Kevin was a builder, he enjoyed a challenge, and would rather build it than buy it. He worked at several RV factories in the past and most recently started working at Whimet in Warsaw, IN.
Kevin is survived by his fiancé, Melissa DeMatteo, son, Atticus, and step-children, Kameron, Aiden, and Phoenix; brother, Tyler Richter, and his nephews Xavier and Weston. He is also survived by his step-father Denford “Pa” Evans. Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Howard.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
